Educational research helps to develop, produce and present new knowledge in the areas of learning, teaching, and administration. This leads to improvements in educational practice. It is necessary for educators to have a research-based knowledge about learning, teaching, and administration so as to make learning, related to culture, and other areas more effective for all learners. Educational research is an integral part of the educational changes, challenges, and critical issues facing all educators today and in the future. It is imperative that the approaches to investigating education, student achievement, as well as, the many ways to make improvements, become a part of an educator's knowledge base.
